Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a weekend locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Oct 31, 2025. This is a 1-day contract with 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from Friday morning to Saturday morning, featuring a high callback volume and a focus on emergency OB/GYN cases, including C-sections and deliveries. Proficiency with Epic and Nextgen EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
  • Manage emergency OB and GYN cases, including NSTs and complex situations
  • Perform C-sections and oversee delivery care as needed
  • Respond to frequent callbacks as required by clinical volume
  • Utilize Epic and Nextgen for documentation and patient management

Additional Information
  • Kentucky medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, with demonstrated emergency OB and GYN expertise
