Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for an 11-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Dec 29, 2025. This opportunity offers 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, requiring prompt response to deliveries and C-sections. Candidates must meet delivery and C-section credentialing requirements and be comfortable managing both types of cases.

  • Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7AM Dec 29, 2025 through 7AM Jan 9, 2026 (out-of-house call with rapid response required)

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide out-of-house call coverage for labor and delivery, including regular deliveries and C-sections
  • Respond promptly to call-backs for deliveries and surgical interventions
  • Conduct patient consults and rounding as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Kentucky medical license
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • 2+ years of experience in obstetrics with documented experience in deliveries and C-sections
  • Must provide evidence of 30 regular deliveries and 10 C-sections in the past 2 years, as well as 60 regular deliveries and 70 C-sections in career
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
