Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity begins on Feb 9, 2026, and spans 65 days, with Monday through Friday clinic coverage and 24-hour out-of-house call duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with deliveries, C-sections, and GYN/clinical procedures, providing both clinic and call services during the assignment.

  • Schedule:
  • Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
  • Weeknight call: 4:30pm–8:30am
  • Weekend call coverage: 24-hour, 7am–7am
  • Out of house call coverage within range from hotel

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both clinic and hospital settings
  • Perform and manage deliveries, including C-sections
  • Conduct GYN/clinical procedures as required
  • Respond promptly to call backs for deliveries and emergencies
  • Conduct patient consults and rounding
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EHR

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
  • Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active Kentucky medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Must be comfortable with both clinic and call responsibilities
