Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in KY

Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Kentucky, starting Oct 2, 2026. This 16-day assignment involves weekend call coverage from Friday morning through Monday morning, with 24-hour shifts. The role primarily includes managing typical deliveries, C-sections, GYN cases, NSTs, patient consults, daily rounding, and follow-ups, with a focus on high delivery volume in a NICU setting and out of house weekend call with a fairly high callback rate.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24 hour out of house weekend call coverage with a fairly high callback rate
• Perform typical deliveries and C-sections
• Manage various GYN cases and consults
• Conduct NSTs
• Oversee patient consults, rounding, and daily follow-ups
• Work within a high delivery volume environment, including a NICU
