Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and involves a full scope of outpatient and surgical OB duties. The schedule includes clinic hours from 8 AM to 4 PM with on-call responsibilities extending to the next morning, and weekend call from 8 AM to 8 AM. The successful candidate will be the only certified OBGYN in the county, handling 8-10 births monthly and is required to perform surgeries.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide full-scope outpatient OB care
  • Conduct surgical OB procedures
  • Manage an average of 8-10 births per month
  • Serve as the sole certified OBGYN within the county
  • Handle emergency cases as needed
  • Ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the obstetric process

Additional Information
  • Must be certified to perform C-sections
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Must be licensed to practice in Minnesota
  • Experience with Meditech EHR
