Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for an 18-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Aug 4, 2025. The schedule consists of 24-hour shifts and includes dates throughout January to April. This role involves managing approximately 400-500 deliveries per year in a setting with a Level 2 special care nursery and providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, including C-sections and circumcisions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage and perform all deliveries, including C-sections
• Conduct circumcisions as required
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and on-call OB/GYN care
• Oversee patient management in a special care nursery environment
• Fulfill general OB/GYN responsibilities as assigned

Additional Information

• Must possess active North Carolina medical license
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• Experience with high-volume obstetric practice preferred
