Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Nov 14, 2025, and features 24-hour out-of-house call coverage with 8a-8a shifts. The assignment involves inpatient care with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries, making this an excellent opportunity for a board-certified OB/GYN specialist comfortable with a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Epic EMR is also ideal.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including management of vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Participate in 24-hour out-of-house call coverage as scheduled
  • Respond to emergent and routine patient care needs within the inpatient setting
  • Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient management
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure continuity of care

Additional Information

  • Must have an active North Carolina medical license
  • Required board certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Required certifications: Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Experience in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care is essential
