Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 21-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call, focusing on rounding on patients, handling emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries, and performing emergent GYN procedures. Join our client's team and provide essential care in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Round on patients.
  • Be on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
  • Be available for any emergent GYN procedures.
  • Handle high-risk deliveries (emergent only, no NICU at facility).
  • Perform low-risk pregnancy management and OB Ultrasounds.
  • Execute routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps.
  • Make decisions for c-section.
  • Manage complicated deliveries such as C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, and VBACs.
  • Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
  • Conduct office/minor gynecology.
  • Perform surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic, Operative/major).
  • Manage an average of 27 deliveries monthly with an average of 11 C-Sections.
  • Typical census is 1-3 deliveries per 24-hour period.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • EMR: Meditech EHR.
