We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in Nebraska. This opportunity begins on Jan 23, 2026, with a two-week on, two-week off rotation covering 12-hour shifts, including day and night coverage. The role requires immediate availability for OB emergencies and comprehensive inpatient obstetrics care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide immediate response to OB emergencies
  • Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
  • Manage obstetric hemorrhage and hypertension crises
  • Evaluate fetal monitor strips as requested by nursing staff
  • Conduct OB triage evaluations and care for unassigned labor and delivery patients
  • Facilitate post-partum discharges
  • Participate in OB emergency simulation drills with the multidisciplinary OB team
  • Coordinate care across the full spectrum of obstetric cases, from antepartum to postpartum, in collaboration with nurse midwives, anesthesia, and emergency physicians
