Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and offers clinic coverage Monday through Friday during the day, with additional weeknight and 24-hour weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide expert obstetric and gynecologic care and ensure high standards of patient safety and service throughout the assignment.Job Details

- Schedule:
- Clinic Coverage: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weeknight On-Call Coverage: Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend & Holiday On-Call Coverage: 24-hour shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both clinic and on-call settings
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of women's health conditions
- Perform routine and emergency obstetric procedures
- Conduct gynecologic examinations and procedures as indicated
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Adhere to all current clinical protocols and safety standards

- Required board certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
