We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity starts on Dec 1, 2025, and spans 240 days, offering a blend of clinic coverage Monday through Friday and on-call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and federal holidays. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in obstetrics and gynecology and hold all required certifications.

Job Details

• Location: New Mexico
• Start Date: Dec 1, 2025
• LOA: 240 days
• Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist
• Schedule:
• Clinic Coverage: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weeknight On-Call Coverage: Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekend & Holiday On-Call Coverage: 24-hour shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in both clinic and on-call settings
• Diagnose and manage routine and complex obstetric and gynecological conditions
• Perform routine and emergency deliveries and surgical procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Adhere to established protocols and standards of care

Additional Information

• Required board certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Nexplanon Certification
• Active license to practice in New Mexico (or ability to obtain)
