Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Jan 17, 2026, and spans a 2-day assignment, providing 24-hour call coverage for a Nursery. The schedule includes continuous coverage from 8am Jan 17 to 8am Jan 19. Candidates with high-risk delivery ability are preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
  • Manage labor and delivery, including high-risk deliveries as needed
  • Oversee patient care in a Nursery setting
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient outcomes


Additional Information

  • Active New Mexico medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and DEA certification required
  • Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
