Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in NM

Job Description

Our client in New Mexico is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 45-day assignment starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage and dedicated clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including clinic duties and managing various surgical and obstetric cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage.
• Manage clinic Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; clinic participation is non-negotiable.
• Handle both OB and GYN cases.
• Perform FHR interpretation.
• Conduct and interpret OB ultrasounds, including level 1/screening.
• Perform Amniocentesis.
• Manage routine and complicated deliveries; VBACs preferred.
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations preferred.
• Execute office/minor gynecology and surgical gynecology procedures.

• EMR: Epic
• Laser certification preferred.
