Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 36-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Jul 3, 2026. This vital role involves providing comprehensive 24-hour call coverage, focusing on a broad range of OB and GYN cases, including deliveries, surgical gynecology, and various diagnostic procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage
  • Manage OB and GYN cases
  • Interpret FHR (fetal heart rate)
  • Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (level 1/screening)
  • Perform Amniocentesis procedures
  • Manage routine and complicated deliveries
  • Perform VBACs (Vaginal Birth After C-Section) (preferred)
  • Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations (preferred)
  • Provide office/minor gynecology services
  • Perform surgical gynecology procedures
  • Possess laser certification (preferred)
