We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in New York, beginning Jan 5, 2026. This flexible opportunity offers sporadic on-going shifts, including weekend 24-hour call and weekday night coverage, with scheduling tailored to provider availability for the duration of the assignment and potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
  • Manage deliveries, with approximately 700-750 births per year
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in a Trauma setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a facility with a NICU
  • Ensure high standards of patient care for all assigned shifts


Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active New York medical license required
  • 6-month extension possible based on mutual agreement and client needs
