Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting on Dec 22, 2025. This opportunity features holiday 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, beginning at 7am on Dec 22 and concluding at 7am on Dec 29. GYN surgical experience is needed, though such cases are uncommon in this setting. Candidates must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and possess a current New York license. The assignment utilizes the Allscripts EMR platform.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
• Respond to patient calls and coordinate inpatient and emergency needs as required
• Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed
• Utilize Allscripts EMR for patient documentation and care coordination

Additional Information

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Active New York medical license required
• GYN surgical experience needed, though these cases are uncommon
• Additional coverage dates may be available in 2026, but participation is not required
