Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide labor and delivery care for low-risk patients
- Perform C-sections as needed
- Manage a daily patient volume of 20-35
- Collaborate with three nurses for patient support
- Refer high-risk patients to maternal-fetal medicine as appropriate
- Conduct very few emergency department consults
- Focus primarily on direct patient care with minimal EMR interaction
Additional Information
- Current New York medical license required
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Advanced Life Support (ALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
