Responsibilities and Duties
Provide labor and delivery care for low-risk patients
Perform C-sections as needed
Manage a daily patient volume of 20-35
Collaborate with three nurses for patient support
Refer high-risk patients to maternal-fetal medicine as appropriate
Conduct very few emergency department consults
Focus primarily on direct patient care with minimal EMR interaction
Additional Information
Current New York medical license required
Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
Advanced Life Support (ALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
