We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This position starts on Apr 6, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule with 2-3 clinic days per week (8am-5pm) and one 24-hour hospital call shift per 7-day period. The role focuses on labor and delivery, including C-sections, with the support of three nurses and minimal EMR responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide labor and delivery care for low-risk patients
  • Perform C-sections as needed
  • Manage a daily patient volume of 20-35
  • Collaborate with three nurses for patient support
  • Refer high-risk patients to maternal-fetal medicine as appropriate
  • Conduct very few emergency department consults
  • Focus primarily on direct patient care with minimal EMR interaction

Additional Information
  • Current New York medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
