Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physician for a 42-day assignment in New York, commencing May 4, 2026. This role involves a Monday to Friday clinic schedule with dedicated OR days, along with weekly and weekend call. The Physician will be responsible for a range of duties including outpatient GYN care, emergency deliveries, C-sections, and various gynecological surgeries.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide clinic coverage Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, supported by an LPN, reception, and office manager.
  • Perform surgeries on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Participate in 1-2 weeknights of call each week.
  • Manage 24-hour weekend call on Saturdays and Sundays, with no Monday call following a weekend on call.
  • Conduct outpatient GYN procedures including well-woman exams, birth control management, and IUD insertion/removal.
  • Handle emergency deliveries.
  • Perform C-sections.
  • Perform circumcisions.
  • Manage deliveries for patients 36 weeks or greater, referring high-risk cases to main campus.
  • Execute emergency gynecological surgeries such as torsions, ectopics, and D&C procedures.

Additional Information

  • Board certification required in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
