Job Description

 Barton Associates is seeking an OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position in Ohio. This 46-day assignment begins on 08/01/2025, with a potential for extension through December. The provider will work as a Laborist, covering the Labor & Delivery floor with flexible 12 or 24-hour shifts. The schedule requires two 24-hour shifts per week, which can be split into three 12-hour shifts with an additional 12-hour shift. The physician will primarily focus on OB care, including rounding on the Labor & Delivery floor, with occasional consults and D&Cs. This role offers a flexible schedule with a maximum of 4 consecutive 12-hour shifts.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide Laborist coverage on the Labor & Delivery floor

• Perform OB care and occasional consults

• Conduct D&Cs as needed

• Round on Labor & Delivery patients

• Work 12 or 24-hour OB hospital shifts

• Maintain a flexible schedule to cover required shifts

• Collaborate with on-call gynecology backup for complex cases

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system


Additional Information:

• Ohio state medical license required

• Maximum of 4 consecutive 12-hour shifts allowed

• Cannot work 48-hour shifts

• Potential for assignment extension through December
