Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in OH

Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Nov 27, 2025. This opportunity offers 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, with primary shifts from 7 a.m. Nov 27 to 7 a.m. Nov 29. Providers must have recent case logs and required certifications.

• Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house call coverage, 7 a.m. Nov 27 to 7 a.m. Nov 29; onsite orientation preferred on Nov 26 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.); additional dates available for ongoing coverage
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for obstetric and gynecological emergencies
• Manage labor and delivery cases, including a minimum of 50 deliveries within the last 2 years
• Perform gynecological procedures, with at least 25 GYN cases in the last 2 years
• Respond to urgent patient needs and coordinate care with hospital staff
• Complete all required patient documentation in Epic EMR
• Participate in onsite orientation prior to call shifts

Additional Information

• Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Current OH license required
• Must have COVID vaccination
• Must hold BLS and NRP certifications (not required to be through AHA)
• ACLS certification required
• Recent, verifiable case logs are mandatory (50 deliveries and 25 GYN cases in past 2 years)
• Cannot credential if there is pending malpractice
