Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care including labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and emergency procedures like D&C.
- Expected to handle clinic hours as well as weekday, weekend, and night calls.
- Manage approximately 20 deliveries during the assignment, with a focus on both routine and emergency care.
- Serve as a critical backup for midwives, particularly for C-sections.
- Support one L&D suite, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Must hold a valid DEA certification.
- Pennsylvania medical license needed.
