Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric care including labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and emergency procedures like D&C.
  • Expected to handle clinic hours as well as weekday, weekend, and night calls.
  • Manage approximately 20 deliveries during the assignment, with a focus on both routine and emergency care.
  • Serve as a critical backup for midwives, particularly for C-sections.
  • Support one L&D suite, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.

Additional Information
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • Must hold a valid DEA certification.
  • Pennsylvania medical license needed.
