Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for an 18-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Oct 7, 2025. This role features a clinic and call schedule (clinic 8am-4pm, call 4pm-8am), with responsibilities including postpartum and delivery coverage, C-section back-up, and supporting approximately 2 deliveries per week.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide clinic coverage and participate in call rotations (weekday, weekend, and night)
  • Oversee postpartum and delivery care, including coverage for 1 L&D suite
  • Serve as C-section back-up and respond to emergencies involving mother/baby distress
  • Support approximately 2 deliveries per week; approximately 20 deliveries projected in August
  • Perform D&C as needed in the ER (preferred, but not required)
  • Refer high-risk patients as appropriate; no MFM on site

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
