Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in TN

 We are seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician for a 6-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with deliveries, C-sections, and emergency GYN cases. This opportunity begins on 06/12/2025, and involves 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for specific dates in June. The physician will be responsible for managing a range of obstetric and gynecological cases, including high-risk pregnancies and potential proctoring of an FPOB in C-sections. Proficiency in Medhost EMR is required. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care

• Manage deliveries, including C-sections and high-risk pregnancies

• Handle emergency GYN cases as needed

• Potentially proctor an FPOB in C-section procedures

• Collaborate with in-house ultrasound technicians and on-call CRNAs

• Utilize Medhost EMR for patient documentation

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

• Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction

• Participate in any required meetings or training sessions

• Stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology

Additional Information:

• Must be board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Active Tennessee medical license required

• Comfortable with out-of-house call responsibilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with deliveries at 35 weeks or over
