Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for our client in Tennessee, commencing Jul 17, 2026, for a 30-day assignment. This critical role involves delivering comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care, encompassing a wide spectrum of procedures from managing low and high-risk pregnancies to performing various surgical interventions and patient management.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care.
  • Manage pregnancies, including low-risk, high-risk, routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section), C-sections, breech presentations, and multiple births.
  • Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE.
  • Conduct OB Ultrasounds for performance and interpretation (Level I/Screening viability, Level II/Targeted anatomic).
  • Execute procedures such as amniocentesis, complicated deliveries, abruptions, and repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
  • Perform office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
  • Engage in surgical gynecology, covering open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (e.g., tubal ligation, LOAs, chronal tubation), and operative/major procedures (e.g., ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs).
  • Maintain laser certification.
