Job Description
We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-day assignment starting Mar 9, 2026, in Virginia. The Physician will handle inpatient 24-hour call, focusing on vaginal deliveries and C-sections, operating within a 7:00 - 7:00 shift schedule. This role involves comprehensive OB/GYN duties within a labor and delivery setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Provide inpatient 24-hour call coverage in the Labor and Delivery department.
- Collaborate with support staff including Labor and Delivery RNs, On Call Pediatrics, and On Call Anesthesia.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- EMR system utilized: Epic.
- Vaccines are mandatory for this assignment.
- The facility does not support VBACs.
- Expect approximately 30 deliveries per month.
