Responsibilities and Duties
Provide on-call coverage for the emergency department, specifically for deliveries and urgent gynecological cases.
Manage approximately 500 births annually, collaborating with an FQHC for certain deliveries and newborn care.
Coordinate with pediatric hospitals and transfer cases under 36 weeks to specialized facilities.
Utilize the Epic EMR system to document and manage patient information efficiently.
Additional Information
Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
Must have completed at least 30 deliveries in the past 24 months, including 10 C-sections, and at least 25 gynecological surgical procedures, including five major abdominal cases.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
All active and inactive state licenses must be listed on CV, with explanations for any CV gaps exceeding two months.
