We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN for a locum tenens assignment in West Virginia beginning Nov 21, 2025. This 30-day opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage shifts, primarily backing up midwives who serve as first call, with weekend shifts one to two times per month. The selected locum will be handling deliveries, C-sections, emergencies, and other OB/GYN cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology cases
• Serve as backup to midwives who are on first call
• Manage emergent and routine OB/GYN cases as required during assigned shifts
• Collaborate effectively with midwifery and clinical teams
• Ensure high-quality patient care and timely clinical decision-making

Additional Information

• Active West Virginia medical license required
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
