Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. Starting Nov 17, 2025, this opportunity involves 14-hour in-house night shifts from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., with 7 to 10 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in an inpatient setting and work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care during night shifts
  • Manage labor and delivery cases, including emergencies
  • Perform gynecologic procedures as needed
  • Respond to obstetrical and gynecological consults
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Additional Information

  • Active West Virginia medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Prior experience with in-house OB/GYN night shifts preferred
