Job Description

Our client in New York is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 13-day assignment, commencing May 4, 2026. This remote position requires at least 4 hours weekly, focusing on evaluating Leave of Absence (LOA), Agile Work Arrangement (AWA), and ADA requests. The Nurse Practitioner will primarily make determinations and collaborate closely with the client's LOA team.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Partner with the client LOA team to make determinations on various employee requests including FMLA, disability, short term leave, and remote work requests.
  • Evaluate Agile Work Arrangement (AWA) and ADA requests to reach appropriate determinations.
  • Assess return-to-work notes with restrictions and make necessary determinations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Leave of Absence (LOA) Team to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Conduct employee meetings at your discretion for further evaluation into specific requests.
  • Prioritize and address the existing backlog of requests before moving to ongoing volume.
  • Manage all information exchange remotely via Secure File Transfer.


Additional Information
