Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine Doctor for a 64-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting on Jul 14, 2025. Ideal candidates will work Monday to Friday, with daily shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring comprehensive medical oversight at our client's facility.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as the Onsite Medical Director, overseeing occupational health operations.
  • Provide medical consultation and hands-on care for work-related injuries, medical surveillance, and urgent non-occupational emergencies.
  • Clinically supervise all onsite medical staff, ensuring adherence to best practice and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct and oversee medical review officer (MRO) duties, including drug test result analysis.
  • Administer preventative measures such as influenza shots and manage fitness-for-duty evaluations.
  • Engage with client stakeholders for continuous improvement of health protocols.
  • Triage and manage workplace injuries and illnesses effectively.

Additional Information
  • Required Certifications: BLS, DEA
  • Preferred: MRO Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Experience: 3-5 years in occupational medicine preferred
