Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Oncology - Medical Needed in MA

Job Description

We are seeking an Oncology Physician Assistant for a 70-day assignment in Massachusetts, starting May 4, 2026. This role involves 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM shifts, focusing on new patient consults, follow-ups, and managing patients in an outpatient clinic and infusion center. Key duties include chemotherapy supervision, central line management, and addressing oncologic emergencies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct new patient consults
• Perform patient follow-ups
• Work in an outpatient clinic and infusion center
• Provide chemotherapy supervision and orders
• Manage central lines, including Port-a-Cath and PICC line care
• Manage oncologic emergencies, such as tumor lysis syndrome, spinal cord compression, and neutropenic fever
