We are seeking an experienced Hematologist-Oncologist for a locum tenens assignment in Colorado. This opportunity starts on Mar 23, 2026, and spans 95 days, with a clinic-based schedule on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, plus occasional overnight and weekend call coverage. The physician will primarily care for hematology patients, with additional responsibilities for oncology patients while on call.
Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and conditions using history, physical examination, and diagnostics
Communicate treatment options, address patient concerns, and prevent illness or injury with a patient-centered approach
Accurately and completely document in the medical record for ongoing care, compliance, quality, safety, and billing
Provide leadership and feedback to the clinical care team
Consult with colleagues and refer patients when clinically appropriate
Maintain availability for office visits, phone calls, electronic communication, and on-call coverage as outlined in policy
Support continuous organizational improvement in quality, safety, and patient experience
Participate in ongoing learning and professional development
Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Perform additional specialty-related duties as required
Additional Information
Must hold a DO or MD degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
Residency training in specialty required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 3–5 years of post-training experience preferred
Must be licensed to practice in Colorado
