Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Medical Oncologist for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting May 4, 2026, for 84 days. This opportunity offers full-time or 3 days per week coverage with a mix of outpatient clinic, infusion coverage, morning inpatient rounds, and one week per month of hospital call, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct morning inpatient rounds prior to clinic
  • Provide outpatient office and infusion coverage
  • Write chemotherapy orders; oversee administration by nursing staff
  • Be available for phone consults regarding infusion questions or patient reactions
  • Manage minimal inpatient consults during work hours
  • Handle weeknight and weekend call for assigned patients (primarily by phone; in-person for weekend calls)
  • Collaborate with two other Oncologists and an Advanced Practice Provider in the office
  • Manage infusion coverage via phone and EPIC in-basket on weekends

Additional Information
  • Board Certification required in Hematology and Medical Oncology
  • Must hold a valid Ohio medical license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
