We are seeking an Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan starting Feb 2, 2026. This 90-day opportunity involves a preferred schedule of up to 6 months’ availability, ideally 2 weeks per month, with at least one surgical day per week and additional clinic days. You will provide care to trauma level 4 patients, performing both surgical and non-surgical ophthalmology procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform surgical procedures including cataract removal and phacoemulsification
Conduct intra-ocular injections
Interpret and perform ultrasound imaging (A and B-Scan)
Interpret photos and optical coherence tomography results
Deliver non-surgical and LASER ophthalmology procedures
Manage patient care in a trauma level 4 setting with eye lanes available
Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care during assigned shifts
Additional Information
Must be licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
Board certification in Ophthalmology required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Strong clinical proficiency in both surgical and non-surgical ophthalmology procedures
