Our client in Alabama is seeking an Optometrist for a 48-day assignment starting Apr 13, 2026. This role involves managing basic optometrist cases, diagnosing and treating common eye conditions, including refractive errors, dry eye syndrome, and conjunctivitis, as well as prescribing eyeglasses. The schedule is standard, with shifts from 8a - 5p, and no surgical duties are required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as refractive errors, dry eye syndrome, and conjunctivitis.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and other vision correction solutions.
• Handle cases involving amblyopia.
• Provide comprehensive optometric care within the scope of practice, excluding surgical procedures.
