Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist for a 48-day assignment in Alabama, starting Apr 20, 2026. The schedule involves consistent daytime shifts, typically 8a - 5p. In this role, you will diagnose and manage common eye conditions including refractive errors, dry eye syndrome, and conjunctivitis, as well as prescribe eyeglasses. This assignment focuses on medical optometry cases and does not involve surgery.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnose and manage common eye conditions, including refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness), dry eye syndrome, and conjunctivitis (pink eye).
  • Prescribe eyeglasses and other corrective lenses.
  • Manage cases of ablyopia.
  • No surgical procedures required for this role.
