The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care in long-term care facilities, ensuring high standards are met in patient treatment and collaboration with facility staff.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive eye care to patients in a long-term care setting.
  • Perform all necessary charting within 24 hours of each visit.
  • Ensure a thorough and professional approach to patient care each day.
  • Visit only one facility per day to maintain focused and personalized care.
  • Collaborate effectively with long-term care facility staff to meet patient needs.
  • Travel to different long-term care facilities, one each day, to deliver consistent care.
  • Utilize Practice Fusion for all EMR documentation.

Additional Information
  • Must hold a current Optometrist license in Georgia.
  • Experience in geriatrics and working with older patient populations preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle the logistics of daily travel and varying schedules.
