Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Optometrist for an 18-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas, beginning on Sep 8, 2025. This role involves conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and advising on follow-up care in various assisted living and nursing homes. Scheduled workdays are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Days are flexible, and multiple providers may be accommodated.

Additional Information

  • Geriatric experience or interest preferred
  • Nursing home exposure is a plus
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Must be licensed in Kansas
  • No prescribing of medications required
  • Utilizes Nextgen EMR system
