Locum Tenens Physician - Optometrist Needed in MD

Job Description

We are seeking an Optometrist for a 78-day assignment in Maryland, starting Mar 17, 2026. This role involves daily shifts from 7a to 4p, providing comprehensive care including eye exams, post-operative cataract surgery follow-ups, and managing dry eye and glaucoma. The successful candidate will be the sole Optometrist at this location and will have the opportunity for training on RxSight Light Adjustable Lens if needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole Optometrist at this location
• Provide comprehensive eye care, including eye exams
• Conduct post-operative cataract surgery follow-ups
• Manage dry eye conditions
• Potentially manage corneal post-operative cases
• Manage glaucoma
• Provide post-operative treatments
• Utilize RxSight Light Adjustable Lens, with training available if no prior experience
