Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist for a 50-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Oklahoma. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and offers a consistent schedule of day shifts every Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Candidates with IHS experience are encouraged to apply, and a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients

  • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as appropriate
  • Document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as needed
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and compliance standards

Additional Information

  • Required board certification: Optometry
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • IHS experience is a plus
  • Minimum of two years recent clinical experience preferred
