Job Description

We are seeking an Optometrist for a 5-day assignment in Pennsylvania, beginning Aug 31, 2026. The schedule involves shifts from 9:00am to 5:00pm, focusing on comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing expert patient education for routine optometry cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect potential eye diseases or abnormalities.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as appropriate.
  • Provide expert advice on proper eye care practices and recommend treatment plans.
  • Refer patients to Ophthalmologists as needed for more complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using available systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
  • Utilize autorefractor and optomap technologies to help expedite patient volume.
  • Manage a caseload primarily consisting of routine optometry cases, with approximately 60% glasses and 40% contacts.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Optometry is required.
