We are seeking an experienced Optometrist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin starting Nov 10, 2025. This opportunity involves day shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and offers the chance to help launch a new optometry program from the ground up while delivering essential patient care.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with the development and opening of a new optometry program, including identifying equipment, tools, and supplies
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and assess patient vision
- Detect and treat eye infections, diseases, and abnormalities
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
- Provide expert advice on proper eye care practices and develop recommended treatment plans
Additional Information
- Proven experience in Optometry services required
- Experience opening a program from the ground up is highly desirable
- IHS/tribal health experience is a significant plus
- Required board certification: Optometry
