Our client in California is seeking a highly skilled Dentist specialized in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for a locum tenens role focusing on TMJ cases. This 120-day commitment starts on Jul 28, 2025, and involves a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ideal candidate will deliver expert care in TMJ injections and related treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Diagnose whether TMJ pain is muscular or joint-related and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
  • Perform 6-10 TMJ injections daily, along with a few trigger point injections.
  • Manage new patient assessments, splint deliveries, and bite guard fittings with the HNS department.
  • Provide care to approximately 14 patients per day, with the youngest patients in their early 20s.

Additional Information
  • Required to be proficient in handling regular TMJ cases through substantial experience.
  • Must be licensed in California.
  • Knowledge of Epic EMR system is necessary for maintaining accurate patient records.
