We are seeking an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, runs for a 48-day contract, and features surgical procedures only, with scheduled shifts 1-2 days per week, typically starting at 6:30am and ending between 1-3pm. The surgeon will focus on scheduled surgical procedures, averaging 2-4 arches per day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform scheduled oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures as assigned
• Manage an average caseload of 2-4 arches per day
• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines

Additional Information

• Completion of an Oral Surgery residency program required
• Must hold current Illinois dental license
• Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery required
