Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role focuses exclusively on scheduled surgical procedures with shifts beginning at 6:30am for prep and first procedures at 7:30am, ending between 1pm and 3pm. The surgeon will perform full-service implant cases, including extractions, bone preparation, implant placement, and follow-up care, averaging 2 to 4 arches per day.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform full-service dental implant procedures, including extraction, bone preparation, and implant placement
  • Carry out scheduled surgical procedures with a focus on efficiency and patient safety
  • Manage post-operative follow-up care for implant patients
  • Treat an average of 2-4 arches per day
  • Adhere to conscious sedation protocols as required
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures
