This opportunity begins on Nov 17, 2025, and offers day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday. The assignment focuses on first assist duties in orthopedic surgery, mainly total joints and sports medicine cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures, with emphasis on total joints and sports medicine
  • Provide perioperative and postoperative patient care
  • Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices for surgical care

Additional Information
  • Active North Carolina NP license required
  • Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Prior experience in orthopedic surgery and first assist preferred
