We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serve as first assist for orthopedic surgeries, with a focus on total joint replacements and sports medicine cases
  • Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
  • Assist with intraoperative care and surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Must have a valid North Carolina license
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Experience in orthopedic surgery, specifically total joints and sports medicine, is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
