Schedule: Monday-Friday (4 weeks/month); available shifts include 6:30am-3pm, 11am-7pm, or 1pm-9pm
Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as first assist for orthopedic surgeries, with a focus on total joint replacements and sports medicine cases
Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
Assist with intraoperative care and surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide patient education regarding procedures and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
Must have a valid North Carolina license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Experience in orthopedic surgery, specifically total joints and sports medicine, is highly preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
