Job Description

Our client in Oklahoma is actively seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon Physician for a 7-day assignment starting Sep 16, 2026. This role involves 24 hour call, performing arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and various joint repairs for an average of 10 orthopedic inpatients daily. The Physician will be addressing a range of orthopedic cases including hip and knee procedures, and simple fracture repairs in a trauma facility.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform arthroscopy.
  • Execute total joint replacements, including hip and knee.
  • Conduct joint revision or repair for shoulder, hip, and knee.
  • Manage simple fractures and hip fracture repair.
  • Care for approximately 10 orthopedic patients on the inpatient side daily.
  • Handle an average of 6 patient encounters per shift.
  • Provide coverage for a Trauma facility.
  • Provide coverage for a PEDS facility.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
