Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform all necessary hospital-based documentation
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
  • Formulate treatment plans for orthopedic consultations
  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
  • First-assist in surgeries
  • Order and prescribe medications and orthotics
  • Provide on-call coverage
  • Advocate for patients and assist in the overall continuum of care
  • Practice to the fullest extent permitted under current state and federal laws

Additional Information
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in a doctor’s office, with 2 years in Orthopaedics
  • EMR Used: Epic
