Responsibilities and Duties
Perform hospital-based documentation
Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
Formulate treatment plans for orthopedic consultations
Conduct therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
First-assist in surgeries
Prescribe medications and orthotics
Provide on-call coverage
Advocate for patients and assist in the continuum of care
Additional Information
Must hold a PA license
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a doctor’s office, with at least 2 years in Orthopedics preferred
Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
